The Yuvabadhana Literature Contest promotes children’s creativity and imagination through writing and illustrating entertaining children stories. By creating storybooks, children improve their writing skills and learn to use proper language, work and share creative ideas with others, and allocate tasks and responsibilities. The first contest was held in 1994. Since then, the Yuvabadhana Foundation has held the contest annually for twenty years, partnering with organizations such as the Cultural Center, National Council of Cultural Affairs, Satit Chulalongkorn School, Srinakharinwirot University, the Japanese News Agency, and the Japanese Embassy.
The Yuvabadhana Foundation will publish the winning story, and present copies to students in remote areas through the Office of the Basic Education Commission, Office of the Non-formal and Informal Education, Bureau of Special Education, Community Development Department, Bangkok School district, Department of Social Development, Border Patrol Police Schools, the Books for Children Foundation, and other government entities.
Any government entity or private organization interested in receiving books may contact the Yuvabadhana Foundation
